Long Course Full Golf Membership
Few golfing thrills can match playing the same holes the PGA pros play in competition. Golfers can do that at Thornhill Golf & Country Club. Over 50 years ago we hosted the Canadian Open and more recently, the prestigious Presidents’ Day Invitational Tournament.
Renowned golf course architect Stanley Thompson designed the 18-hole course. The present course has retained the classic design and features of a Thompson course with strategic bunkering, the illusion of distance, dramatic variations in hole length and fairway width, intricate mounding, subtly breaking greens and elevated tees.
Full Long Course Golf Membership
Applications will be received for Long Course Category A (Unrestricted) and Category B (Restricted) memberships.
A Senior Category A member may join the club for an initiation cost of $30,000.
A Senior Category B member may join the club for an initiation cost of $22,500.
Membership on the Long Course is offered in two categories:
Category A offers members full playing privileges 7 days a week. This option is perfect for those members who enjoy playing early on weekend mornings and want full use of their course. Category A golfers pay annual Golf plus Clubhouse fees and a $400 per year Food Minimum House Account requirement.
Category B offers members 7 day access to the course during non peak times. This Category is ideal for those golfers who are content to tee off after 11 am on weekends. Category B golfers pay annual Golf plus Clubhouse fees and a $400 per year Food Minimum House Account requirement.

All Long Course Golf memberships include Curling and Tennis privileges as well as use of the driving range, practice facilities, locker, club storage and full clubhouse use 12 months of the year.

The Long Course Trial Membership
For the current golf season you may join the Long Course in either the unrestricted or restricted sections and play the entire season without paying the initiation fee.
- Fee Calculation: current annual golf and clubhouse fee + $500 trial fee
- $500 trial fee will be applied to initiation if the commitment to join the golf section is made in the current season
- A great opportunity to experience the privileges of membership.
- Includes full clubhouse, Long Course and Valley Course privileges during the current golf season.
- Tennis and Curling privileges included
- Current membership approval process in effect
