The application form is to be filled out by the person applying for membership. Thornhill Golf & Country Club requires a full mailing address, telephone number and business information, if applicable. Your Social Insurance Number is required as a credit check may be done. Unless requested otherwise, we will publish home and business phone numbers in a Members Only roster book that is produced once a year.

Please ensure that the Proposer and Seconder fill out the Reference Questionnaire forms. All forms should be returned together to the attention of the Membership Co-ordinator.

The bottom of the application form, highlighted in blue, is for office use. Please leave this area blank. The section for Directors signature will be filled in by the two directors you will be introduced to. The Membership Co-ordinator will call you after receipt of your application and an interview will be set up at a convenient time for you to meet the Directors.

Please ensure that you sign and date the application. If the application is on behalf of a Junior, please have the Junior sign the application form and the sponsor and or parent should fill out the Reference Questionnaire. Please be aware that the sponsor of a Junior applicant is responsible for the account and deportment of the Junior.


The Reference Questionnaire Forms for Proposers & Seconders

The Reference Questionnaire forms need to be filled out by the Proposing Member and the Seconding Member. Please ensure these forms are completed prior to returning the Membership Application Form.


Final Steps

Once the Application Form is complete and accompanied by the two Reference Questionnaire Forms, please return the application to the attention of the Membership Co-ordinator at Thornhill Golf & Country Club. At this time the Membership Co-ordinator will arrange an interview with the applicant and two Board of Directors. After the interview, the application will be reviewed by the Membership Committee. If approved, the Application will then be submitted to the Board of Directors at their monthly meeting for final approval. Upon final approval, the New Member will be contacted and will be able to begin immediate membership privileges.
