Cindy comes to us with more than 20 years experience in the hospitality industry, including excellent experience in restaurant operations and in catering at private clubs. Cindy was with the Island Yacht Club as Clubhouse Manager from 2008 to 2011 and, prior to that time, spent 10 years at the Cambridge Club as Food & Beverage Manager. She also has catering experience from the Elmwood Complex and was the Restaurant Manager at the Sheraton Centre Hotel. Cindy is responsible for the entire food and beverage operation at TGCC.
Todd McGrath, Head Golf Professional
Our new Golf Professional, Todd McGrath, was born in Smiths Falls and began his golf career as an Assistant Golf Professional at the Smith Falls Golf & Country Club. He then spent two years as an Assistant Professional at Clublink's Greystone Golf Club followed by four years as an Assistant Golf Professional at Hamilton Golf & Country Club prior to joining the Cutten Club where he has been Head Golf Professional for the past five years.
Todd is committed to the success of our Junior Program and is a recognized teacher and has provided lessons to golfers from beginner to advanced. He was the Ontario PGA 2010 Merchandiser of the Year. He has also won numerous club fitting awards. For the past five years, he has been the assistant coach to the University of Guelph golf team.
Greg McFarlane, Golf Course Superintendent
Greg started his career in the golf industry at Bayview Country Club in 1992. He has worked at Thornhill G & CC for the past 16 years, the first 12 as the Assistant Superintendent and moving to the position of Superintendent in the winter of 2007. Greg graduated from the Golf Course Technician program at Seneca College in 1994 and has also completed the turf grass short course from Cornell University, New York State. His main reason for working at Thornhill for so many years is the enjoyment of working with dedicated people and their shared commitment to providing an exceptional golf experience to it's members.
Michael Mullen, Controller
Michael is a Certified General Accountant with a great depth of experience in all areas of finance. Most recently, Michael held the position of Controller at the Donalda Club from 2002 to 2011. Michael has a strong technology background and was also responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining a wide range of systems and controls while with Donalda. Michael is responsible for all aspects of administration and financial operations at the Club and will work directly with the Finance Committee and coordinate all financial reporting and external financial audits.
