Junior Tennis Spring Clinics
All clinics begin the week of May 6th. There are six clinics offered throughout the summer. Rain dates will be arranged if required.
Our beginner’s program will introduce the proper grips for the fore-hand, back-hand ground-strokes, the volley and the serve. Participants will also receive an introduction to the scoring system and rules of tennis. Most importantly, all participants will hit a lot of balls!
Time: 4:30-5:30pm. Monday or Wednesday
The intermediate program will review each participant’s grip and provide instruction for any necessary adjustments. These sessions are designed to master all of the required strokes of the game. Now that participants have an understanding of tennis, these sessions will focus on the strategies and court positioning for singles and doubles play.
Time: 5:30-7:00pm. Monday or Wednesday
Advanced & Tournament Program
The advanced program will focus on fine-tuning the participant’s grip and advanced drills to develop spin variation, accuracy and consistency. Advanced strategy and court positioning for singles and doubles play will be covered to encourage success in tournament play.
Time: 4:30-6:30pm. Tuesday or Thursday
Weekends and other times can be arranged: contact the Tennis Office for more details.
